Hello Y'all. Being on the Eastern part of Colorado, it is still mostly like Kansas where it is flat. However, the weather is starting to be a little different. In the early morning starting at sunrise until around 9:00, there was a lot of fog and mist. Compared to a hot, humid day, this was definitely refreshing. However, this also brought a greater risk as cars have limited visibility of us cyclists. Fortunately, the route that we took had a large shoulder that we could ride on.
Along the way, we went through smaller towns that had a lot of wall art, here are two of my favorites of the day.
At the end of every ride, my go to snacks are strawberries and blueberries. Not only are they in season right now so they are very sweet, but it has a lot of water content!
