Hello everyone! We wanted to share that the Spokes 2024 Application is now out!
For those of you who are new to the blog, here is a little more info:
Every year, MIT Spokes sends a team of students on a cross-country cycling adventure from Washington D.C. to San Francisco. Over the course of 80 days, the team bikes over 3,800 miles, stays in over 70 different towns, and hosts hands-on Learning Festivals that promote STEAM education to middle-school students across the country.
We’re looking for a team of bold, open-minded, and ambitious individuals for the Spokes 2024 team. You don’t even have to be an experienced cyclist to join (most of us weren't)! By joining Spokes, you have the freedom and responsibility to plan next year's adventure from start to finish as the initiative is all student-run, and then...you get to do it! Seems demanding, but take it from us, it is one of the most impactful and meaningful ways to spend your summer.
