(Mostly) uneventful biking
For the most part, today was pretty uneventful as it comes to biking. It was slated to be our longest day so far in terms of distance. Alas, it turned out our route would take us straight through a busy highway that doesn't allow bikes, so we had to take a ride in the car to cover around 30 km. Other than that, it was mostly business as usual: some Appalachian hills, loads of country roads, and Andrew sleeping on the road again (it's actually just a parking lot, don't freak out).
Camping for the night
Due to some last-second unforeseen circumstances, our original host for the night had to go to Ohio and couldn't have us over anymore. Thankfully, they enlisted their friend to help us, and we got to camp out in their backyard on a nice summer night! They also gave us access to their kitchen, so we got to make some chili for dinner.
Kittens!
Our host was fostering some young, young felines. They're maybe 15 cm long. Enjoy.
Live art!
Turns out Berea's really big on free, public art displays! The town's water tower even has a "Berea: where the arts live" slogan. Duha and I went to an outdoor concert put together by the town to support their firefighters. Folks from the town brought their own lawn chairs and some even danced away for the evening!
